Mobile Clinic
The Virginia B. Andes Mobile Medical Clinic delivers compassionate, high-quality healthcare directly to communities throughout Charlotte County-completely free of charge. Staffed by a Primary Care Provider and a Registered Nurse, the mobile clinic operates five days a week, bringing essential medical services to individuals and families where they live and work.

Our core services include:
- Primary and semi-urgent care
- On-site exams
- Chronic illness management
- Limited pharmacy services
- Wellness education
Every Thursday and Friday, we proudly partner with the Florida Department of Health in Charlotte County to offer:
- Immunizations
- Dental care
- Health screenings
- STD testing
- Referrals to additional Florida Department of Health in Charlotte County services
Anyone can receive services from the Florida Department of Health in Charlotte County, regardless of Virginia B. Andes eligibility.
Additionally, anyone can see a Virginia B. Andes Primary Care Provider once, even if they have insurance. After this initial visit, patients with insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid will be referred to their appropriate providers for ongoing care.
We also collaborate with local partners to expand the scope of care we provide:
- Mental health services and referrals through Charlotte Behavioral Health Care
- Tobacco cessation programs through AHEC
- Free transportation within Charlotte County via Charlotte County Transit
The Mobile Medical Clinic travels across Charlotte County to eliminate barriers to care and improve community health—offering vital services at no cost to those in need. Our mission is simple: to bring healthcare and hope directly to the people we serve.
