Part Time APRN Team Lead & Part Time RN

The Virginia B. Andes Volunteer Community Clinic is adding a state-of-the-art 33Ft. Mobile Medical Clinic to our programming and looking for qualified candidates to become our Mobile Medical Clinic Team.

If you have:

  • A passion for serving those most in need seeking access to healthcare.
  • Ability to practice independently while functioning successfully within the Mobile healthcare team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with common office equipment and electronic medical recordkeeping software required. Experience with Amazing Charts is preferred.
  • Proven skills are required for the effective administering of evidence-based care
  • Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse in a clinic, hospital, ER, or other settings
  • Expertise in primary care, acute care, and chronic care practices
  • Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
  • Current Florida Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Current Florida Licensure as a Registered Nurse

And are interested in working 3 days per week (M-W) 9-4 Part-time in designated fixed locations in Charlotte County, this may be the right position for you!

We bring the Mobile Medical Clinic to the patients, setting up onsite services for the day within Charlotte County Communities.

Our Mobile Clinical Team is committed to the delivery of high quality evidenced-based medical care with a focus on prevention, behavior change, health promotion and health maintenance activities that affect long-term health outcomes. 

APRN Duties

Direct tasks of the Nurse Practitioner include coordination of all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and consultation, and serving as the leader within the Mobile Clinical setting.

RN Duties

  • The Registered Nurse promotes and restores patients’ health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary mobile team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients.
  • Helping coordinate our front desk check-in operations.
  • Answering questions from patients and the community about the Virginia B. Andes Volunteer Community Clinic Mission and Services.

Driver/ Mobile Medical Clinic Bus Operator

Virginia B. Andes Volunteer Community Clinic is adding a state-of-the-art 33Ft. Mobile Medical Clinic to our programming and looking for qualified candidates to become our Mobile Medical Clinic Operators.

If you have:

  • RV / Truck driving experience
  • An attention to detail
  • A strong work ethic

And are interested in working 5 days per week (M-F) 8-5 full-time with local daily routes in Charlotte County, this may be the right position for you!

We bring the Mobile Medical Clinic to the patients, setting up onsite services for the day within Charlotte County Communities.

Mobile Medical Clinic Operators are responsible for:

  • Driving our 33 Ft Mobile Medical Clinic Coach Bus to each location within Charlotte County.
  • Setting up our services with outside tents, check-in table, and chairs for patients, volunteers, and staff
  • Ensuring Mobile Medical Clinic Bus is clean and maintenance ready prior to operation daily for staff, volunteers, and patients.
  • Helping coordinate our front desk check-in operation.
  • Assisting with any patient’s needs outside of medical practice.
  • Answering questions from patients and the community about the Virginia B. Andes Volunteer Community Clinic Mission and Services.
